Dates, times and repeats
Type dates the way you say them. Quick add, the task editor, filters and the MCP tools all read the same words. The examples below assume today is Thursday, October 15, 2026, at 10:00.
The app reads the words of the language you use it in. Numbers and ISO dates like 2026-10-20 work in both.

Good to know
- A time on its own means the next time it comes round: at 10:00, “9am” is tomorrow and “3pm” is today.
- A weekday on its own means the next one; “next friday” skips a week only when Friday is still this week's.
- 10/20 reads month first in English and day first in Danish (20/10).
- every! counts from when you finish the task instead of from the due date. “every! 3 days” waters the plants 3 days after you last did.
- A date and a repeat together start the series on that date: “tomorrow every monday” starts with the first Monday from tomorrow.
- If the line is not a date, it stays text. “monday morning meeting notes” is a title, not a due date.
- In quick add, text in curly braces is a deadline, like
{friday}. A deadline is the date it must be done by; the due date is when you plan to do it.
